The 17th International Cognitive Linguistics Conference (ICLC17) was held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, from July 14 to 18, 2025.
Organized by the Argentine Association of Cognitive Linguistics (AALiCo), ICLC17 brought together researchers and scholars from around the world to exchange ideas and present current research in cognitive linguistics.
Under the special theme “Culture, Discourse and Cognition,” the conference offered five days of plenary lectures, theme sessions, general sessions, poster presentations and opportunities for academic exchange.
ICLC17 also marked the first edition of the International Cognitive Linguistics Conference to be held in Latin America.
